Aleppo soap
Au savon de Marseille is pleased to announce the arrival of new soaps.
Introducing Aleppo soap, the finest and oldest soap in the world!
We offer 4 different new Aleppo soaps:
It is the laurel bay oil (or bay tree oil) which gives this soap all its capacity to heal those skin problems. Laurel oil being a rare oil, its quantity found in a soap directly influences its price.
Aleppo soap is the ancestor of Marseille soap and both are manufactured the same way: cooked in a cauldron. The only difference is that most of the laurel oil found in the Aleppo soap is added at the end of the manufacturing process. This way, the laurel bay oil is not totally saponified, making Aleppo soap a moisturizing soap.
Those 4 new soaps are made in Syria under the supervision of Alepia-La Maison d'Orient, a well-established french company.
For more informations about Aleppo soaps, we do recommend to read this : Aleppo soap, the true natural soap.
On a different note, I want to bring to your attention that we have uploaded a new form on our testimonial page. This way, it should be easier for you and future Marseille and Aleppo soaps lovers to give their feedback.
Thank you for reading and have a nice Sunday!
